HARRY TIPPER III

Mr. Tipper was most recently President and CEO of a Class III Bermuda company licensed to offer segregated account (or rent-a-captive) cells. Prior thereto he has had extensive experience with a boutique consulting practice where he assisted clients to improve business development, underwriting and administrative activities. He is an ARIAS-US Certified Arbitrator and serves as an expert witness in reinsurance litigation and arbitration.

His has had extensive insurance and reinsurance experience over a 35+ year career largely with an underwriting focus and in product lines such as specialty casualty, WC, A&H, self-insurance “ART” business, facultative and treaty, Occupational Accident and Casualty reinsurance business

Mr. Tipper holds a BA from Cornell University and a MBA New York University’s Stern School of Business. He has written and lectured extensively, conducting workshops and briefings for numerous trade associations including International Association of Accident Boards & Commissions, the RIMS, and the Self-Insurance Institute of America. He was Chair of the Self-Insurance Educational Foundation, and was the Deputy Chair and a Director of the Bermuda Captive Owners Association.
