Sharon Ashton has operated as a consultant to ISG for the last four years after a career as a finance director in start-ups across both the insurance and non-insurance industries.

After training with a Big Four accounting practice, she gained further experience by operating in a number of overseas environments before joining a speciality defence contractor operation which led to a number of roles including corporate restructuring and investigation.

She specialises in interim finance directorships, systems and process development, and risk management solutions for insurance entities. Following  changes in the regulatory environment in 2005, she has focussed on supporting brokers, underwriters and underwriting agents in the finance area of their operations.
