Independent Services Group (ISG) launched
Newly created ISG (Independent Services Group Limited) will provide a variety of specialist services to the London and international insurance and reinsurance markets. ISG’s major offerings include services to underwriters and intermediaries, the provision of run-off services, audits and inspections and a diverse selection of consultancy, project management and solutions delivery from its London base.
ISG has been created to be the brand of a number enterprises created over the last few years. The aim is to foster individual operating entities, which are all independent and owner-managed, which will provide under the ISG umbrella an extremely wide range of products and services with an extensive skill base of experienced market professionals using one identity. ISG marks the evolution of a new ‘one stop shop’ offering a truly independent provider to potential clients throughout the worldwide insurance and reinsurance sector.
The creation of ISG (Independent Services Group Limited) represents the concentration of IMS (Independent Market Solutions Limited), ILMS (Independent London Market Services Limited), IBS (Independent Broking Services Limited) and ILMS IT (ILMS Information Technology Limited).
Commenting on the formation of ISG Chief Executive Officer Nick Readings stated “The creation of ISG is an important and defining milestone that consolidates the well established offerings of IMS, ILMS, IBS and ILMS IT into one cohesive brand. These companies have separately built their own businesses and client bases during the last five years. The formation of ISG brings together the distinctive services of each entity into one, thus offering a wider scope of interlocking value added services to our existing and prospective clients. Our goal is to further enhance and expand the truly independent and highly specialised professional services ISG offer to the insurance and reinsurance sector whilst preserving quality and avoiding becoming a large process oriented servicing operation. ISG will be entering into joint ventures with like-minded owner managed companies to expand the services offered.”
